Friendship is a beautiful word that brings us all together. Friendship helps us celebrate our differences and appreciates what is common in us. Nov 11- 17, 2019 marks International Friendship Week, and we should all use the occasion to reminisce and celebrate friendship.
Friendship is an outstanding quality and skill for us all. It helps us make the world a friendlier and welcoming place for us to live. Friendship is a superpower that we all have been given. We should all use this Week to thank this superpower that is changing the world every day.
Let us all use this opportunity to remind us of the true meaning of friendship. Friendship is not only the “state of being a friend,” but also your ability to bring you to that state. More often, we think it is the quality of someone else to be our friend, but it is our power to bring us as a friend to the world.
So, how we all could come together and celebrate our superpower? You could start with thanking yourself and everyone around you who is keeping your friendship as a superpower in good health. You should thank your friends, family, and surroundings. You should celebrate friendship by listening to the stories of how beautiful friendships got formed. Ask your friends and family to share their stories (including the struggles) of friendship. You should start some new friendships and bring others in your friendship circle.
This is an exciting time for friendship. We all could contribute and change the world if we bring friendship at the core of humanity. While we are friends and excited to be your friend, we appreciate your friendship and your effort in bringing the world closer and a harmonious place for us all to live.
